Establishment of the Arab Center for Dispute Resolution in Intellectual Property

The Arab Center for Dispute Resolution (ACDR) was jointly established by the Arab Intellectual Property Mediation and Arbitration Society (AIPMAS) and the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP).

These two non-profit organizations are chaired by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh. The Center is the fifth worldwide and the fist supplier of uniform policies to settle domain names disputes in the Middle East and North Africa.

The Board of Directors of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) approved the proposal presented by the ACDR in this regard.

Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh pointed out the Center will work on performing its duties and responsibilities properly in order to serve the entire region.
