His Excellency Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh launched an initiative for the safe and dignified return of displaced Syrians.
He further ordered TAG-Consult to develop a study to outline a strategic plan for the dignified and safe return while taking into consideration their current needs.
For this purpose, a meeting was held to address this issue, attended by representatives of the United Nations along with other international institutions.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the study prepared by TAG-Consult aims at implementing a strategic plan that would be at the disposal of the international institutions, donor countries and all other stakeholders for their assistance in providing the displaced with their needs, as well as all the requirements for preparing them to return to their homeland, and also include reconstruction, security guarantees and life necessities for their return.
