Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and Palestinian Banking Institute General Manager Discuss Cooperation

AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), has received in his office Dr. Akram Hamdan, general manager of the Palestinian Banking Institute (PBI), to discuss  mutual cooperation in developing specialized professional certificates for various sectors, especially banking and finance sectors. 

During the meeting, the two parties discussed the possibility of supporting the Institute by providing qualified trainers through TAG.Global’s experts and by employing advanced educational and learning tools to enhance training quality.

Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh spoke about the inclusion of banking and finance professionals, trained by the PBI, among candidates eligible for the fully-funded Scholarship for Palestinian Refugees and Displaced Arabs, provided by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh that enables them to pursue specialized master’s degrees with the aim of qualifying Palestinian graduates to meet the labor market needs.

Further, the two sides discussed the launch of the ‘Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Scholarship for Preparing Graduates to Job Market’, a program that is intended to prepare graduates for the labor market. Under this initiative, candidates will be trained in the year 2025, especially for roles in banking and finance. 

Funded by TAG.Global and conducted by the Palestinian Banking Institute, the participants will earn a dual certification, the first certificate issued by the Palestinian Banking Institute and the second by TAG.Global, which would significantly enhance their employability and skills to meet labor market requirements.
